My not so baby brother turned 40 a couple of weeks back and laid on a Rock and Pop themed bash to remember in leafy Surrey. All the stars were there, along with the papparazzi of course. Suzy Q made an appearance and seemed to be having a fine time. (thanks for the guitar Isabelle). Elton turned up too in one of his more flamboyant outfits.Cher and Adam Ant made a welcome joint appearance - just need their agent's permission to publish :-). Postscript - no objections filed to date, so I'll publish and be damned....

One celeb who wasn't there was Michael Jackson who succumbed to some mystery ailment the day before the do. I half expected a couple of imposters but I guess that would have been in impossibly bad taste...
